Anatole
Let me introduce you to Anatole. He comes from Pont du Las in Toulon. I found him during a house clearance. His owner was getting rid of her parents' furniture before the sale.
Like all furniture from that era, it was covered with a thick varnish and an orange-brown stain. After scraping and sanding, I discovered that it was made of two types of wood: mahogany (red wood) and cherry (light wood). Its base and back are pine.
Its top can be removed to reveal the contents of the drawer.
It has a small hiding place for treasure keeper!
