Very beautiful Alsatian serving dish signed H. Loux.
 OBERNAI is the emblematic collection of the Sarreguemines earthenware factory. Following the disappearance of the latter, the Luneville-St-Clément factories will continue to produce it.
 We owe it to Henri Loux, a designer and watercolourist from the end of the 19th century. He depicted traditional scenes from Alsace at the time. Using the pretty colours of this region, H. Loux conveys, on these worked earthenware pieces, the joy of living of its inhabitants.
